Maruti Suzuki has launched its EECO’s latest model. The special thing is that the company has increased the seating capacity along with safety in the new model. Maruti Suzuki had already closed 7 seater variants of Eco. Now only 5 seater eco was coming in the market. However, now another 6 seater variants have also been added. However, there is no change in 5 seater variants other than airbags. This car will now come with Captain seats. The price of Maruti Eco will now start from Rs 5.69 lakh ex -showroom.
Maruti increased these safety features
In addition to 6 airbags in Eco, Maruti Suzuki has also added some new safety features such as anti -lock braking system, seat belt reminder, electronic stability control and electronic brake distribution. The funny thing is that it will now get three-point seat belts in the car for the rear passengers, which are given with seat belts pre-tensioner and force limitors.
Maruti Eco Mileage
Maruti Suzuki Eco will already get a 1.2 liter petrol engine, which comes with a 5 -speed manual gearbox. However, now the engine is made according to the latest E20 fuel (which includes 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol). There is also an option of CNG in Eco for people who want more mileage. However, the CNG variant is in 5 seater eco. It is expected that the company can later add it to 6 seater variants. This car gives a mileage of 26.78 km/kg with 19.71 kmpl and CNG when it runs on petrol.
Design and features
Maruti has not made any changes in the design and look of the car. It is almost the same in the interior. However, there has been a mild change in the design of roof lines and pillars to adjust 6 airbags in the car. Talking about the features received inside Maruti Suzuki Eco, it has basic features like air conditioner, heater, sliding driver seat, Illumineated Hazard Switch, 12 Volt Accessories socket and Dome Lamp Battery Savar. It also has features such as digital driver display, cabin air filter, sunnyer, front cabin lamp and steering lock.
