A big case of negligence has come to light from the Mission Hospital in Damoh in Madhya Pradesh, where 7 heart patients died due to negligence. Here a man was working as a doctor of London, who also performed some heart patient’s operation, out of which 7 died. Actually, it is being told that this fake doctor was doing a job in the name of London Doctor Enkim John. During this, the doctor underwent heart patient surgery. Seven of these patients died.
This case is in the month of February, that is, two months have passed for the death of patients. Seven people lost their lives during the operation of heart patients. Despite this serious negligence, the hospital management neither verified the degree of the accused nor investigated his identity. The matter was revealed when Deepak Tiwari, chairman of the Child Welfare Committee, complained about it.
Accused of misuse of government funds
Chairman Deepak Tiwari said that negligence was taken in the investigation of the case, due to which it was complained to the Human Rights Commission in March. During the investigation, it is also feared that the number of dead may be more. The case caught up further when Priyank Kanungo, former National President of the Child Protection Commission, exposed the entire incident on social media. He also informed that this hospital is associated with the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana, due to which the allegations of misuse of government funds have also come up.
Investigation is being done in the case
At present, the matter is investigated and strict action is being demanded against the culprits. At the same time, questions are also being raised at the administrative level regarding the negligence of hospital management and misuse of government schemes. Priyank Kanungo, a member of the National Human Rights Commission, wrote on social media, “A fake doctor in the missionary hospital performed surgery of patients in the name of treating heart disease. A case of death of 7 during the operation has come to light.”
