Rajasthan News: Rajasthan has received more rain than quota this year. So much water has fallen that 50 years of records broke. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of rain car in about 17 districts.
Heavy Rain in Rajasthan: Relief news has come for the people of Rajasthan. Due to monsoon activity and rain, the water situation in major dams of the state has improved. The Water Resources Department has released the data from June 15 to August 31, stating that 84.18 percent of the total filler capacity is available in the dams of the state. This situation is considered more satisfactory than previous years and will be helpful in meeting water supply and irrigation needs in the coming months.
Kota division at the best place
- The condition of all the divisions of the state has been filled with 82.12 percent water in the dams of Jaipur division.
- This figure is slightly lower in Bharatpur division and only 58.61 percent of the total capacity of the dams is available.
- The dams of Jodhpur division are filled with 70.65 percent of the total filler capacity.
- Kota division is in the best position, where 94.64 percent of the total capacity in dams is filled.
- Banswara division is also in good condition and the dams have 93.69 percent water of total capacity.
- 61.22 percent of the total filler capacity in Udaipur division is stored.
- Apart from this, 77.08 MQM water has been recorded in the dams of the state during the last 24 hours, which is a matter of relief for the farmers and the general public.
Agriculture and drinking water supply will get big relief
- According to the Water Resources Department, the adequate availability of water in the dams will benefit the farmers in the irrigation of the upcoming Rabi crop. At the same time, the problem of drinking water crisis in urban and rural areas is also expected to be reduced to a great extent.
- Given the water level, people have satisfaction on their faces in rural areas. At the same time, the administration is constantly monitoring the condition of the dams so that controlled drainage can be done in the event of excess rainfall and any disaster can be avoided.
