Chumaukedima (Nagaland) [भारत]July 9 (ANI): Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Rangapahar Military Station, on Wednesday conducted an outreach program at Patkai Christian College in Chumaukedima, Nagaland. According to a release, the event was aimed at creating awareness among the youth and encouraging them to join the Indian Armed Forces.

The release said the event was organized in coordination with 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC and was attended by officers, instructors and over 300 NCC cadets.

Lecture given on Agneepath Scheme

According to the release, a doctor from the Army Recruiting Office delivered a lecture on the Agneepath scheme, highlighting its features, benefits and career opportunities after a four-year tenure. Questions raised by the participants were also answered during the session.

Information about officer entry schemes and recruitment process

The release said details of various officer entry schemes including National Defense Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Service (MNS) and Territorial Army (TA) were explained. Cadets were also briefed about the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview process.

The speakers explained the eligibility criteria, application procedures and selection process for various admission schemes to provide a better understanding of the recruitment process. The release further said that handouts, posters, pamphlets and other promotional materials were distributed among the participants during the program to reinforce the information shared in the session.
