There is tremendous enthusiasm among the devotees about the Chardham Yatra to be held every year in Uttarakhand. A large number of devotees come from India and abroad for this holy journey. To start this journey starting from April 30, this time the government has planned to improve online registration. Also, the government has made some changes in the date of online registration. This will give devotees more time to plan. The preparation for the journey is in full swing.
The first registration for Chardham Yatra was to start from March 11, which has been banned by the government. However, the new date has not been announced yet. It may be announced soon. According to the official statement, this date will be extended and taken forward. According to the tourism department, this year the number of passengers is expected to be more. Therefore, new arrangements are being made for online registration. The government plans to make better management to control the crowd during the journey, so that the devotees do not have any kind of trouble.

According to the tourism department official, lakhs of devotees come every year to visit Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath under Chardham Yatra. The government will provide registration facility through both online and offline to conduct the yatra properly. This time 60 percent registrations will be done online and 40 percent will be offline.

Counters will be made in Rishikesh and Haridwar for offline registration. Updates related to the journey will be available on the official website of Chardham Yatra and the social media platform of Uttarakhand Tourism Department. The devotees have to confirm their booking before the journey, so that there is no inconvenience.
