Sawan 2026 Date: The month of Saavan is considered the most sacred time for worshiping Lord Shiva. During this entire month, Shiva devotees observe fast, perform Jalabhishek and worship Mahadev with full devotion. According to Drik Panchang, in the year 2026, the month of Saavan will start from 30 July 2026, while it will end with Shravan Purnima on 28 August 2026. According to religious beliefs, worshiping Shiva during Sawan removes many problems of life and brings blessings of happiness and prosperity.
This is the reason that before the start of Sawan, people, along with cleaning their houses, also bring home some auspicious things, which are considered symbols of positivity and auspiciousness. It is believed that by bringing these things home before Sawan and worshiping them with full rituals, one gets the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi along with the blessings of Lord Shiva. silver ficus
The ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and his vehicle Nandi have special importance. Parad Shivalinga
Parad Shivalinga is considered very sacred in religious beliefs. It is said that by worshiping it in Sawan, Lord Shiva gets pleased quickly. If it is installed in the house before the start of Sawan and anointed regularly throughout the month, one is blessed with happiness, prosperity and mental peace.
Rudraksh
Rudraksha is considered favorite of Lord Shiva. It is considered auspicious to bring Rudraksha home and worship it before Sawan. Many people also wear Rudraksha during this time. There is a religious belief that this increases positive energy and reduces obstacles in life.

Copper Kalash is considered very auspicious in worship. Special importance has been given to the copper vessel for offering water to Shivling during Sawan. If you do not have a new copper Kalash in your house, then it is considered auspicious to buy it before Sawan.

The conch is considered to be associated with Mother Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu, but keeping the conch in the house is also believed to transmit positive energy. Blowing the conch during puja purifies the environment and removes negativity. Therefore, bringing conch shell home before Sawan is considered auspicious.
belpatra plant
Belpatra is considered most dear to Lord Shiva. If there is enough space in the house, it is considered auspicious to plant a Belpatra tree before Sawan. Due to this, the atmosphere of the house remains positive and it is believed that one has received the blessings of Shiva.
