Sikh Contribution India: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recalled the sacrifice and contribution of Sikh Gurus in Gorakhpur. He said that the renunciation of Guru Tegh Bahadur and Guru Gobind Singh saved the identity of the country and showed the way of duty to the new generation.
CM yogi on sikh history: A special event was held on Sunday at the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Padleganj, Gorakhpur, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sacrificed the Sikh Gurus and saluted their tradition. In the program, he listened to Guruvani, interacted with the devotees and inaugurated the tourism development works done in Gurdwara.
Chief Minister Yogi said that Sikh Gurus always sacrificed their lives to protect Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma. From Guru Nanak Dev to Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj, every Guru carried forward the tradition of sacrifice and sacrifice. Referring to the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, he said that whenever the crisis on culture came, Sikh Gurus went ahead and faced it.

Why is the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas considered historical?
CM Yogi described the martyrdom of Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj’s four Sahibzadas – Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Jorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh – a glorious chapter of Indian history. He said that even when he was lured to leave religion, he chose the path of sacrifice instead of compromising his faith and culture. The younger Sahibzadas were martyred by selecting them in the wall, but their courage and loyalty still inspires the country.
Why is ‘Veer Children’s Day’ special?
Referring to the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that ‘Veer Children’s Day’ is celebrated all over the country on 26 December. This day is a symbol of remembering the martyrdom of Sahibzadas and introducing generations to the coming generations with their adventure contribution.
CM Yogi inaugurated the works done to give better form to Padleganj Gurdwara in Gorakhpur. He said that now modern facilities will be available to the devotees here for langar, Guruvani recitation and religious events. He also mentioned the development works of Jata Shankar and Mohdipur Gurdwaras.
The Chief Minister said that Sikh Gurus put every moment of their lives in the welfare of the country, religion and humanity. Their sacrifice and adoption of teachings are true gratitude. He also said that the same caste and society survive in history, who make the valor and sacrifice of their ancestors a part of life.
