After Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s health deteriorated, Minister Girish Mahajan has given a clear statement regarding his health condition. Mahajan said that the Chief Minister is suffering from throat infection and fever and is being given saline. He said that Shinde’s health will recover by tomorrow and he will soon lead government meetings.
Mahajan had sought time for three-four days to meet the Chief Minister. Shinde had gone to the village and could not be contacted. He said that he has come today only to inquire about his health. Everything is fine in the alliance and there are no differences. Mahajan gave clarification on the ongoing discussions regarding cabinet expansion. He said that there was no discussion with him on this subject. This decision will be taken at the level of senior leaders.

On the question asked on the lack of coordination between Deepak Kesarkar and Bawankule, Mahajan said that it is true that there was a little lack of coordination, but now everything is fine. He assured that the swearing-in ceremony to be held on the 5th will be spectacular.
Mahajan said that inviting the opposition was necessary as per protocol. He denied the rumors of the meeting being held in Delhi. Also said that there has been no discussion regarding division of departments. He said, “I am a small worker. Our senior leaders Devendra ji, Ajit Dada and Eknath ji will decide on this.”

Mahajan said that all three coalition parties (BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP) will work together for the coming five years. He said that the discussion took place in a positive atmosphere in the meeting and reports of any kind of differences are false. Terming the issues raised by the opposition and the media as baseless, Mahajan said, “There was no issue today. I had only come to inquire about the health of the Chief Minister.”
Eknath Shinde is honest
Mahajan said that he had known Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for 30 years and described his nature as honest and clear. He said that there is no possibility of resentment or disagreement on small matters. With this statement, Mahajan tried to end the rumors going on about the unity of the alliance and the health condition of the Chief Minister.
