Bank Holiday Today: Are banks closed on Saturday, 30 November?

According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, all banks across the country usually remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. In such a situation, today i.e. 30th November being the fifth Saturday of the month, banks will remain open. Unless there is a specific holiday, all banks operate on 1st, 3rd and 5th (if applicable) Saturdays.

Digital banking will be useful

Even though common people cannot go to banks on Sundays except holidays, or second and fourth Saturdays, digital banking services are available on all days. Customers can complete most of their financial tasks from home without visiting the bank branch. They can access services through ATM, digital banking and UPI platform. Apart from this, online transactions will be available for urgent banking needs. Additionally, customers can invest in options like FD, RD or other investment schemes through net banking or by logging into their bank’s official mobile app.
