A puppy fell into an open borewell in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. A rescue operation was carried out for about 26 hours to bring out the puppy. However, the little dog was taken out after a long struggle of 26 hours. After hard work, SDRF and police team succeeded in digging it out from the 40 feet deep borewell. However, even after a long struggle, the life of the little dog could not be saved.
A small dog had fallen into an open borewell in Morena 26 hours ago. According to the information, there is a borewell in the residential complex of Morena Police Line. However this borewell has been closed. Due to leakage of water around the borewell, a pit about 40 feet deep has formed. While walking with his mother in the evening, the little dog suddenly fell into a deep pit. The people present in the park heard the barking sound of the little dog and informed other people also.
Success achieved after 26 hours
After the information, the Municipal Corporation team and the police team from the police line reached the spot. After that the SDRF team was called after giving information. SDRF team reached the spot and started rescue. Even after 20 hours there was no success in rescue. A pit about 30 feet deep was dug near the borewell. However, during the digging, there was a fear that the little dog might get buried under the soil. The excavation was stopped with JCB and the rescue operation was restarted by calling the LNT machine.
Veterinarian did not reach the spot
After a long struggle, the dog was taken out from the borewell about 40 feet deep but no health facilities were found on the spot. Due to which the little dog was taken to a private clinic in a police vehicle. Even after treatment by the doctors in the clinic, the little dog could not be saved. People told that calls were being made to veterinarians for 24 hours but not a single doctor reached the spot. If the little dog had got treatment on the spot, it could have been saved.
