Today, Auraiya District Magistrate Dr. Indramani Tripathi reached village Malhausi of Bela police station area on the complaint of the victimized elderly woman and resolved the problem on the spot. Also fed laddus to an elderly woman of the village with her own hands. The victim woman Urmila Devi, resident of village Malhausi, had written a complaint letter to the District Magistrate some time ago.

According to the information, the woman had stated in the letter that one and a half years ago, she had conditionally donated 1 bigha of her 5 bigha farm in the village to the Jal Nigam, in return for which the Jal Nigam had promised to provide a job to her son. The woman also accused the accountant and the village development officer and said that these people were also fully aware of this, but the victim’s son did not get any job from the Jalnigam.

The woman alleged that the Jalnigam people had taken possession of one and a half bigha of land instead of 1 bigha, about which she complained to the accountant and the village development officer but no problem was resolved. Regarding this problem, the District Magistrate went to the village and heard the problems of the women and villagers. Also, while disposing of the victim woman on the spot, he said that the portion of the place occupied by the victim will be given to her somewhere else. After this, Annapurna (aunt), an elderly woman of the village, pleased with the good human behavior of the District Magistrate, brought laddus, which the District Magistrate himself fed to the elderly woman with his own hands and the villagers praised it fiercely.
