The dispute continues between India and Pakistan regarding the Champions Trophy to be held in February-March 2025. Team India is not going to tour Pakistan for this tournament, since then ICC is stuck between the two cricket boards. It is believed that the schedule of this tournament can be announced after the meeting to be held on 29th November. At the same time, even before the Champions Trophy, a cricket match will be played between the teams of India and Pakistan. This match will be played in the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup, which is going to start from November 29.
There will be a clash between India and Pakistan in Dubai
Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup will be played in UAE from 29 November to 8 December. A total of 8 teams will participate in this tournament which include India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, UAE and Nepal. Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup was started in 1989. This time the 11th edition of the tournament is to be played and for the fourth consecutive time it will be hosted by UAE. The 8 teams participating in this tournament have been divided into two groups of 4 each. India, Pakistan, Japan and UAE have been kept in Group A. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal have been kept in Group B.
Teams of India and Pakistan are in the same group, so the competition between both the teams will be seen in the group stage only. This match between the teams of India and Pakistan will be played on 30 November on the grounds of Dubai. This match will be played from 10.30 am Indian time. After this, the Indian team will face Japan in Sharjah on 2nd December and then it will play its last group stage match against the UAE team on 4th December.
