The controversy over applying tilak in the government school of Jammu is not stopping. After coming to a school with tilak applied, the principal beat him. After this the District Education Directorate suspended the principal. The students locked the school and demanded reinstatement of the principal. Along with the children, their parents also gathered outside the school. Other staff of the school are also not being allowed inside.
The controversy that started in the government school of Jammu after children came to school wearing tilak is not showing signs of stopping. After the video of this case went viral, Head Master Vandana Sharma was suspended. The children of the school themselves have locked their school in protest against the suspension of the head master. There is a demand for reinstatement of the teacher and other staff are also not being allowed inside.
Principal suspended after video goes viral
Along with the children, their parents also participated in this demonstration. According to the information, there was a case of some students coming to school wearing tilak in a government school in Jammu. Its video also went viral on social media. After which now the department has taken action. Directorate of School Education Jammu has suspended Vandana Sharma, Principal in-charge of Government High School Chak Jafar. This action has been taken under Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Rules 1956. Its letter has also been issued.
The student’s family members made this allegation
The family members of a student from Rajouri had alleged that their daughter had reached school wearing tilak during Navratri. After which he was beaten. After the complaint of the family members, the education department took action against the teacher and suspended him. Family members said that such incidents give a wrong message to the society.
