Police have busted a prostitution gang in Purnia, Bihar. Police have recovered four minor girls from near the accused. According to the police, the youth involved in the gang used to lure girls into the trap of love and do prostitution. The girls who have been rescued from the accused are from the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Police have arrested 6 accused in this case. Two women are also among the arrested accused.
According to the information, a girl from Kishanganj was given a missed call by Neeraj Paswan, a resident of Purnia. After which the girl called after seeing the missed call and asked who are you? Neeraj Paswan told the girl that the number had been dialed by mistake. He was calling someone else.
This is how they used to become victims of conspiracy
Actually, Neeraj was trying to see whether the caller was a girl or someone else by giving a missed call. Once the conversation started, Neeraj Paswan took the girl into his trap and took information about her age. After turning 14 years of age, the girl was made his target. After that, according to the conspiracy, he expressed his love to the girl. The victim girl told that Neeraj Paswan had called her to Girja Chowk in Purnia to marry her. Where he was kept in the Housing Board area. Neeraj had physical relations with her. After a few days, other 4-5 people started coming. After which the girl was made to sit in Zeromile red light area of Sadar police station area. Where every day 15 to 20 customers started having physical relations with him.
The minor told the truth
The girl told that she told the whole story to lady police station incharge Sudha Kumari through the mobile phone of a customer. After which Superintendent of Police Karthikeya Sharma formed a team and raided Zero Mile. From where 3 other minor girls were recovered. All the operators of the Chakalaghar were arrested from the spot.
Police arrested 6 accused
On the whole matter, ASP Alok Ranjan said that the arrested accused used to extend the conversation by making the excuse of missed call on mobile. After that, by pretending to be in love, they would push the girls into the quagmire of prostitution. He told that this gang is spread in many districts of Bihar, more arrests will be made in this case. On the complaint of the victim, a complaint has been registered against a total of seven accused including Neeraj Kumar Paswan in the women’s police station. The house where wrongful acts were being carried out has been sealed. He told that the rescued girls are being counselled.
