The right to vote should be taken away from Muslims… Why did the religious leader say this?

The winter session of Parliament is going on. The most discussed issue is the Waqf Board, on which the meeting of the JPC formed is to be held on Wednesday. There is a possibility of presenting a draft report in this meeting. Representatives of the Minority Ministry and committee members will discuss the bill. The opposition may demand extension of the tenure of the committee. Meanwhile, a big statement by Mahant Kumar Chandrashekharnath Swami of Vishwa Vokkaliga Mahasamastan Math regarding Waqf and Muslims has come to light.

According to news agency PTI, Chandrashekhar Nath Swamy said that such a law should be brought in the country under which no Muslim will have the right to vote. He further talked about the lands of farmers and said that it is said that Waqf can claim anyone’s land. In such a situation, we should fight for the lands of the farmers, so that their lands remain with them. Taking away someone’s land is not a religion. We need to fight against the atrocities on farmers.

“There should be no Waqf Board…”

Along with this, he talked about abolishing the Waqf Board. He said that we have to ensure that there is no Waqf Board. Because leaders do everything for votes. Regarding Muslims, he said that such a law should be brought in which people of Muslim community will not have the right to vote. Pakistan has also done this, where people of other religions do not have the right to vote.

Statement given in Bengaluru

Chandrashekharnath Swami said all these things in Bengaluru, where he was addressing a protest meeting organized by the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. He also said in his address that like Pakistan, the same should happen in India also. If we ensure that they will not have the right to vote. Due to this they (Muslims) will remain (limited) to themselves. With this everyone can live peacefully.
