I am going to die… These were the last words of Lakshmi Bind. After this Lakshmi embraced death along with her 2 year old daughter. The matter is of Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh. Here, the mutilated bodies of a woman and her daughter were found near Suriyawa railway station. When the police started investigation, it was found that the dead body was that of a woman named Lakshmi Bind. Her husband told that his wife was insisting on going to Gujarat with him. When the husband did not listen to her, the woman took this dreadful step.
According to the information, Virendra Bind, resident of Danupur, works in Gujarat. Whereas, his family lives in Bhadohi. He had come home on Diwali vacation. After the leave was over, when he started going to Gujarat, Lakshmi also insisted on going with him. But Virendra said that he cannot take her along right now. Lakshmi still remained adamant. Due to this there was a fight between the two.
Virendra cried bitterly
Lakshmi went to her maternal home in anger. Virendra asked- Where are you going? Lakshmi said- I am going to die. Virendra told the police – Sir, I thought she was saying this in anger. Then she went to her parents’ home. But I had not thought that she would take such a small thing to heart. I neither have a wife nor a daughter. I wish I could have taken him along. Saying this, Virendra cried in front of the police.
What did the police say?
Police said- Lakshmi committed suicide by jumping in front of Bapudham Express going from Muzaffarpur to Prayagraj on Wednesday. He himself committed suicide. But also took the life of a 2 year old innocent child. At present, post-mortem of both the bodies has been done and handed over to the family members. Investigation is ongoing in the matter. The woman’s maternal family is also being interrogated. Initially it seems to be a case of suicide. Still, it will be investigated from every angle.
