Udaipur: After the uproar, Vishvaraj will visit Ekling ji today, Lakshyaraj Singh said – that is a temple, there…

The dispute between the descendants of Maharana Pratap in Udaipur, Rajasthan is not stopping. On Monday, when Mahendra Singh’s son Vishvaraj Singh was coronated, it was opposed. This protest was done by Vishvaraj’s uncle Arvind Singh and cousin Lakshyaraj Singh. After the coronation, Vishvaraj was not allowed to come to Udaipur City Palace for Dhuni darshan. After this, there was a huge uproar on the streets also. Even stone pelting happened. Now on Wednesday at 10 am Vishvaraj will go to visit Ekling ji. Lakshyaraj’s statement has come out on this.

He said- We never closed Ekling Ji Temple for darshan. This temple is open to everyone. Anyone can come for darshan. But there should be no display of power in the temple. Temple is not a place for display of power. He said that this situation should not happen. This way there cannot be a solution on the road. Law cannot be decided on the basis of emotions. What happened on Monday is reminiscent of 1984. Why did the administration officials not follow the law? Why was Section 163 not implemented? Why were people’s lives put at stake? One’s personal beliefs cannot be expressed by visiting other’s homes.

‘Situation like 40 years ago’

Lakshyaraj said- My father and sisters had faced similar situations 40 years ago also. The lives of elders and children were put in danger. On Monday, when people tried to climb the walls to enter inside, it could have resulted in loss of lives. The administration failed to enforce the law. Do not promote such intentions to fulfill political intentions. There is no way out of this through hooliganism. Can be removed only through law. If anyone has any objection then find a way out through law and not by force of arms. There is a constitution in the country. We will follow the law and not take the law into our hands.

What did Vishwanath Singh say?

Earlier, Vishvaraj had told that the people of Mewar are raising their voice against wrong things. Happy about this but do not take the law into your hands. City Palace possession is theirs. I don’t go to Dhuni temple so that there is no fight. There was a special occasion on Monday so it was appropriate to go because of a custom. How can going to the temple be a criminal trespass on my part? Still we were stopped. But on Wednesday I will definitely go to see Ekling ji.

Darshan at 10 am

Today at 10 am, the priest will perform the Rang Dastur ritual in the Ekling temple. A silver stick will be worn on his shoulder. Giving this stick would mean that Vishvaraj Singh would serve as the Diwan of Mewar. After this, the ritual of mourning will be performed by the pundits. Maharana’s white Paag will be replaced with a colorful Paag. Vishvaraj Singh will come to Mewar, Udaipur, Samorbagh and will end the mourning of his family members and old jagirdars. After this everyone will be able to participate in the festival and wear colorful Mewari Pag.

But there is a possibility of chaos even today. Therefore the administration has imposed Section 163 near the Palace. There is strict police surveillance. Every thing is being kept under close watch. Police are also keeping an eye on every situation through CCTV cameras.

Sarva Samaj Ki Jajam at 9 o’clock
