About 166 innocent people lost their lives in that terrorist attack. Today on Tuesday, it has been 16 years since this incident, but those horrifying memories are still fresh in the minds of not only Mumbai but every citizen of the country. This attack is remembered as ’26/11 attack’. On the 16th anniversary of the attack, many people are paying tribute to the deaths of brave soldiers and civilians. Recently, Rohit Shetty, who made Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Singham Again’, has shared a social media post on 26/11 terrorist attack. He has shared a picture on Instagram with the logo of Mumbai Police, on which it is written, “Will never forget their bravery, sacrifice and resilience.” Taj Hotel and some commandos are visible in the picture.
He also wrote in his post, “In memory of the brave ones! We respect those fearless people who faced terror with their courage and sacrificed everything for our security.” Rohit has written in the hashtag in his post, “Will never forget the martyrs, tribute to those who saved them.”

The operation lasted for three days
This terrorist attack on 26 November 2008 shook the entire country. In this attack, 18 security personnel lost their lives fighting bravely. 166 innocent people were killed in Halme and more than 300 people were injured. The terrorists had entered Mumbai through the sea. First Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal railway station was attacked. There the terrorists had killed many people by firing indiscriminately.
Kasab got hanged
Many places were targeted on the night of the attack. The terrorists had entered the Taj Hotel and taken people hostage there. Firing continued between terrorists and security personnel for three days. Finally NSG commandos were included in the operation, after which the commandos killed the terrorists. In this case, Ajmal Kasab was caught alive, who was later sentenced to death.
