Odisha government has distributed the first installment of the third phase under Subhadra Scheme. In this program held in Sundergarh district, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi transferred an amount of Rs 5,000 to the bank accounts of 20 lakh women. Till now 80 lakh women have joined this scheme. The government aims to provide benefits of the scheme to 1 crore women by December.
Money is reaching the account directly
Under Subhadra Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 5,000 is being sent directly to the women’s bank accounts. Till now an amount of more than Rs 1,000 crore has been transferred under this scheme. In Sundergarh district, 4.59 lakh women have registered themselves under this scheme. Of these, 3.37 lakh women have received the money for the first installment of the third phase. This scheme has been started to make women self-reliant.
How to apply for the scheme,
It is very easy to apply for Subhadra Yojana.
- Go to subhadra.odisha.gov.in website.
- Click on “Beneficiary List”.
- Fill the information of district, panchayat and ward.
- Check your name in the list.
If your name is in the list, the money will be transferred directly to your bank account. For application, necessary documents like Aadhar card, bank account information have to be uploaded.
