Theft has been revealed in Yoga Mata Ashram located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This incident has been committed by none other than a woman devotee dedicated to the ashram along with her friends. This woman, originally from Indore, used to come to the ashram daily for darshan. During this time, when he saw cash and jewelery in Yoga Mata’s room, his mind was shaken. He prepared his associates and after formal recce, he committed the theft on Saturday night.
The thieves had even taken away the gold bangle from Yoga Mata’s hands after intoxicating her. Police have arrested three accused including the accused woman in this case. The police have also recovered cash and jewelery worth about Rs 22 lakh at the behest of the accused. After the arrest of the accused, Ujjain SP Pradeep Sharma gave this information in the press conference. He told that there was theft on Saturday night in Yog Mata Ashram located in Badnagar bypass of Mahakal police station area. On receiving the information the next day on Sunday, the police registered a case against the unknown and started investigation.
All three accused arrested
Meanwhile, two suspects riding a bike were seen in a CCTV camera. After identifying them, the police took them into custody and interrogated them and the entire incident came to light. According to SP Pradeep Sharma, the accused told that this incident was carried out at the behest of Kusum alias Kalyani, a woman resident of Indore. Its police has arrested the three accused Kusum, Mahendra Pawar and Faizal Khan. The accused told that they had refused to commit theft in the ashram, but Kusum had prepared them for it by luring them with a bigger share.
Thieves entered by breaking the door
The accused told that they entered from the back side of the ashram and climbed the stairs, broke the door and reached straight to Yoga Mata’s room. Kusum had already told them where the jewelery and cash were kept. The accused told during police interrogation that at the time of the incident, they had made Yoga Mata unconscious by inhaling intoxicating substance. The volume of the TV was also increased. After this the accused even took away the gold bangle from her hands. After this revelation, SP Ujjain has given a reward of Rs 30,000 to the police station and cyber team.
