After the defeat of India Bloc in Maharashtra Assembly elections, disputes have started coming to the fore. Trinamool Congress has demanded to make West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee the leader of the India alliance. Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee criticized Congress’s election defeat in Maharashtra. He asked the Congress to give up its arrogance and accept Mamata Banerjee’s India as an alliance.
Let us tell you that by-elections were held on six assembly seats in West Bengal. TMC has won all the six assembly seats. TMC already had five of these seats and in this election it has also won Madarihat which was under BJP.
Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee stressed that the alliance needs a united and decisive leader to challenge the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that Mamata Banerjee has always proved her leadership and she has been connected to the ground for a long time.

During the program organized in Shrirampur district of Hooghly district, Kalyan Banerjee said that Congress and other opposition parties should accept the failure in the recent elections and they should give up their ego and accept Mamata Banerjee as the leader of India Bloc.

On the other hand, TMC is continuously winning in West Bengal under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and the party is continuously getting stronger in Bengal. However, a campaign was launched against Trinamool Congress in the case of murder of Lady Doctor in RG Kar. An attempt was made to create public opinion against TMC, but the people of the state are completely with TMC and TMC’s victory in the assembly by-elections has once again proved the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. BJP, Congress and Left party have suffered a deep blow in this by-election.
