Congress party leader and AICC Media and Publicity (Communication Department) chief Pawan Khera has said that no citizen of Uttar Pradesh is safe under the rule of Yogi Adityanath, who gave the condemnable slogan ‘If you divide, you will be divided’. Today this is evident from the very sensitive and serious incidents in Sambhal. The videos that have surfaced of direct firing on protesters in Sambhal are the result of a well-planned conspiracy.
He further said that in Western Uttar Pradesh, which has been a symbol of goodwill and harmony for years, three people were killed and many people were injured under a conspiracy. We say with full responsibility that the lives of the deceased have been taken by the Adityanath administration and only BJP-RSS are responsible for setting fire to the brotherhood in Sambhal.
There was already preparation to spoil the atmosphere, said Kheda
Kheda said that the Modi-Yogi government, which treats the minority community as second class citizens, hastily filed the petition in the court. Everyone knows that the administration was fully prepared to somehow spoil the atmosphere of Uttar Pradesh through prudence and caution. Earlier, during the communal violence in Bahraich, the city was handed over to rioting elements.
The Congress leader said that in this entire matter, BJP neither wanted to get the survey conducted nor to stop it, its aim was only to end the brotherhood. Not taking any action against the unruly elements accompanying the survey team makes it clear that after the by-elections in the state, the Yogi government has further intensified the politics of violence and hatred. ‘Spreading hatred between brothers is in BJP’s DNA’
Pawan Kheda said that spreading hatred between brothers and setting communal fire is the DNA of BJP-RSS, it is ingrained in their veins. On the one hand, there is the hollow slogan of ‘if we are together we are safe’, on the other hand, what kind of message of unity is there to build a wall between one community using religion as a shield and take lives of people? On the one hand, the decade-long lie of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vishwas, on the other hand, continuous targeting of the society on religious grounds in Uttar Pradesh, is just trivial and cheap politics.
Sambhal incident is highly objectionable
He said that mutual brotherhood and harmony is being destroyed by the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh for political gains, which is highly condemnable and highly objectionable. We appeal to BJP to give priority to the national interest and not to its political interests.
