In the assembly elections held in Maharashtra, BJP’s alliance Mahayuti waved such a victory that it is being discussed everywhere. While there is a wave of happiness in the alliance due to this spectacular victory, there is disappointment in Mahavikas Aghadi. Now everyone’s eyes are on who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, who will take charge of power. All kinds of speculations are being made regarding this. In this matter, now the statement of Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule has come to light.
Chandrashekhar Bawankule says that who will be the next Chief Minister of the state will be decided by the Mahayuti leaders and BJP leadership. The grand alliance includes current Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He said that the alliance leaders will come together and unanimously decide the name of the Chief Minister.
‘The people of Maharashtra have rejected Congress’
Along with this, he expressed happiness over the election results and said that the people of Maharashtra have completely rejected the Congress. Party’s state president Nana Patole won the elections by a margin of just 200 votes, which shows what is the condition of Congress in the state. Congress has lost the trust of the people.
‘All sections of the society supported BJP’
He said that all sections of the society supported BJP in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. People expressed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM worked for the development of every section. Bawankule said that no party got enough seats for the post of Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, and Congress’s lies could be held responsible for this. Along with this, he also told that the Maharashtra unit of BJP will start a campaign to make 1.51 crore new primary members in the state.
There will be no leader of opposition in the state assembly
Talking about the assembly elections, voting was held on 288 seats in the state in a single phase on November 20. The results were released on Saturday 23 November. Mahayuti alliance retained power by winning 230 seats. Whereas the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) could win only 46 seats. In this, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) got 20 seats, Congress 16 and NCP (Sharad Pawar) 10 seats. Samajwadi Party won on 2 seats. The special thing is that no one will be able to get the post of leader of opposition in the state assembly, because no party outside the ruling alliance has been able to get the required 29 seats for it.
