A ruckus broke out today during the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. The crowd pelted stones at the police team. During this time arson was done on the road. Tension increased in the area after the stone pelting incident, police used force to disperse the crowd. There are differences between the two sides regarding the survey of the mosque, and this development has made the situation even more sensitive. On this entire matter, Minister of State Jaiveer Singh said that people of a particular religion consider themselves above the Constitution, law and judiciary.
The Minister of State further said, the government led by PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath will make everyone follow constitutional values and law. No Tughlaqi decree will be implemented here. The law of the country applies to all people and everyone has to obey it. This kind of anarchy and disobedience to the court order will not go away. Even after the court’s order, such violence and stone pelting will not be tolerated at any cost. No one should be allowed to do such things in the name of their religion.
