In this case, the Kotwali police had sent the main murderer Mukesh Verma to jail. After that the police started investigating. Now the police took remand of the murderer.
Mukesh Verma had committed the murder of his 45-year-old wife Rekha Verma, 19-year-old elder daughter Kavya Verma, younger daughter 14-year-old Bhavya Verma and 12-year-old son Abhisht Verma at around 5 am on November 11. After this he himself told the police the story of everyone committing suicide. However, the story of this suicide of Mukesh Verma was not accepted by anyone.

On the basis of the suicide note written by the murderer, the police arrested Mukesh’s brother Manoj and his aunt’s son and sent them to jail. On November 20, the Kotwali police had also arrested Mukesh’s lover Swati Soni and sent her to jail. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Kotwali police took Mukesh Verma on remand for 4 hours from the CJM court. The police had taken Mukesh Verma on remand to collect the keys of both the rooms where the murder took place.
Police reached home
Based on the statement of Mukesh Verma, the Kotwali police first took him to Neelkanth temple, where the keys previously hidden under the banyan tree were recovered. The police took Mukesh Verma to his house, where he had murdered his wife, two daughters and son. The police also took video and photography during the remand, which was presented in the court.
Controversy started from Rakshabandhan
Mukesh Verma also revealed during interrogation that earlier he had told that there was a dispute going on in his house due to Karva Chauth, but in reality his dispute with his wife started from Rakshabandhan. After this he carried out this incident. After 4 pm, the police admitted Mukesh Verma to Ambha Central Jail after medical examination.
Forensic investigation of key and lock
Kotwali in-charge Inspector Vikram Singh Chauhan said that the keys and locks recovered from Mukesh Verma during the remand period will be sent to Lucknow for forensic examination. Police will now record statements of more people related to this murder. After this, charge sheets regarding this entire incident will be filed in the court. It was said that the police will try to punish the murderer as soon as possible.
