Synergy Summit: Bridging Academia and Industry was organized on Friday at Chaksikander Government Engineering College, Vaishali, located in Bidupur block of Vaishali district of Bihar, with the aim of establishing mutual cooperation between industry and institute. Language lab established for communication skills
On this occasion, the Minister said that under the seven decisions of the state, all the engineering and polytechnic colleges have departmental laboratories for regular education as per All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and high quality language lab for communication skills of the students. has been set up.
As per the demand of the industry, new courses and centers of excellence have been established. Startup cells etc. have been established for entrepreneurship in all institutions. Institution Development Society has been established in the institutions, in which representatives of the industry have also been included so that the views in the development of the institution can be achieved. Consultancy policy has also been implemented by the government, the main objective of which is to provide technological solutions to the industries and also to develop apps etc. as per their needs. Institutions and industries complement each other. Development of the state is possible only with the participation of both. The main objective of this conference is that we both understand each other’s needs and fulfill them.
Engineering colleges established in 38 districts
Secretary of the department, Dr. Pratima informed the industry in detail through PPT regarding the implementation of the decisions taken by the state government in the field of technical education. He said that engineering colleges are established in 38 districts of Bihar which meet the standards of All India Council for Technical Education. All such efforts are being made by the state government, after which the students can be made technically proficient as per the demand of the industry.
Practical knowledge to students
There is a need that the industry should also provide practical knowledge to the students, so that they can get ample opportunities and can also play a positive role in their employment. The Secretary also informed that research and development activities are also done for the industry and consultancy services like IT services, small equipment manufacturing, soil testing, concrete strength testing etc. are being provided to the industries.
Positive role in establishing industry
DM of Vaishali said that as per the policy of the state government, the district administration is playing a very positive role in the establishment of the industry, but modern technology can be introduced only after mutual cooperation with the technical institute regarding the technology being used in the industry. They will be able to get information. There is a need to develop a permanent and strong relationship between the industry and the institute so that the students can be trained as per the requirement and they do not need to go to other states for employment.
SP Har Kishore Rai said that the strong relationship between the industry and the institute will definitely prove to be a boon for the students pursuing technical education. On one hand, the industry will get the support of new technology and on the other hand, students will get golden employment opportunities.
