Camera assistant died accidentally
“We try our best to create a safe environment on the sets for the artists and technicians who work with us. We consider him a member of our family. On 14 November 2024, an unfortunate accident occurred during the shooting of the TV serial ‘Anupama’. On a set in Film City, Ajit Kumar, the camera attendant sent by the vendor, received an electric shock when he accidentally lifted the light rod with the camera. Actually, while lifting the light rod, Ajit was neither wearing slippers nor had gloves in his hands. The DOP present on the set has also confirmed that this was a human error. After this accident, Ajit Kumar was immediately taken to the hospital and he was given immediate medical attention but unfortunately, we lost him.”

Ajit Kumar’s hospital and medical expenses were covered without any negligence on the part of the production house. Ajit Kumar’s family has been compensated by the production house and the family has expressed gratitude to the production for this compensation amount. Besides, the insurance of the deceased will also be given directly to the beneficiaries nominated by him. How everyone is taken care of on the production sets.” While stating this, Rajan Shahi’s production has also threatened the news portal spreading wrong news related to this incident of legal action.
