Leaders of Ajit Pawar faction have started lobbying for the post of Chief Minister before the results. Banners have been put up by Prashant Sharad Baravkar Mitra Parivar Supe Pargana in Parvati assembly constituency and Baramati area. In this, Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been congratulated on his victory with a huge majority. These posters put up on the roadside have once again intensified the discussion in political circles.
Will four-time Deputy Chief Minister Ajit become Chief Minister?
Ajit Pawar is the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra four times, yet he has not been able to get the post of Chief Minister. Ajit Pawar has openly expressed his desire to become Chief Minister several times on platforms. Ajit Pawar, who came to power with BJP after parting ways with uncle Sharad Pawar, and his workers are expressing their desire that he should be made the Chief Minister.
However, by tomorrow i.e. the evening of 23rd November, the picture will be clear as to whose government is going to be formed in Maharashtra. It remains to be seen whether the four-time Deputy CM will be able to become the Chief Minister this time if he wins? Let us tell you that in most of the exit polls, the NDA led Mahayuti alliance has been predicted to get a clear majority. Results will be out tomorrow
Talking about grand alliance in Maharashtra elections, 148 candidates are in the fray from BJP, 80 from Shinde faction’s Shiv Sena and 52 from Ajit Pawar’s side. Apart from this, leaders of other parties included in the alliance are in the fray. Voting took place on 288 assembly seats in the state on November 20 and their results will be revealed on November 23.
