The incident of death of two sisters due to meningitis took place in Sitagachh village under Bahadurganj block of Kishanganj district. A daughter of Mustaq Alam, living in the village, died suddenly 18 days ago due to fever. The second daughter died on Thursday. Whose treatment was going on for the last two weeks. Just two days after the death of the first daughter Mafia Praveen (18), the health of the second daughter Mastoor (16) suddenly deteriorated.
Doctors confirmed meningitis
The family was frightened by the sudden death of the first daughter. Therefore, the second daughter was admitted to a private nursing home in Kishanganj for treatment, where after being admitted for 9 days, the family brought her home. When her health did not improve, the family took the daughter to a private nursing home in Purnia district for treatment, where doctors confirmed that she had meningitis.
Two sisters died in 18 days
On the incident of death, the family members say that the cause of death of the first daughter could not be ascertained. Whereas the other daughter was given better treatment, but she still died. Since the incident, the entire family is in a bad state, crying. The parents are shocked by the death of their daughters.
