Young talent from across the country gathered in NISCCC Grand Finale, Steel Ministry Secretary Sandeep Poundrick inaugurated it.

In the program organized at YMCAA New Delhi on Thursday, DPS Patna, BCM Arya School Ludhiana, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Hyderabad, DPS Coimbatore, Nalanda Vidya Niketan, Telangana, Doon International School, Royal Global School Guwahati, DPS Pune, Bhimrao Ambedkar School, Bihar, 25 schools including DPS Ludhiana participated. The program was inaugurated by Sandeep Poundrick, Secretary, Ministry of Steel.

Many exciting rounds were conducted on the first day of the grand finale. Which included written preliminary examination and extra C rounds conducted on stage. After these rounds, the top 15 teams were selected for the quarter finals. Five quarterfinal rounds were held on the first day. Whose winners and a total of six outstanding performing teams qualified for the semi-finals.

Youth should focus on health, family and hard work

In his address, Sandeep Poundrick, Secretary, Ministry of Steel, as the chief guest, gave the message to the students to give priority to family, health and hard work in life. Vivek Singh, President of Bihar and Chief Guide of Extra C announced the launch of A Clue a Day Global and World Crossword Championship next year. Its objective is to take the enthusiasm for crossword solving to a global level and promote academic excellence and logical thinking.

On this occasion, Extra C President Rakesh Singh, Crossword Association of Delhi President AK Ambastha, CCCC 12.0 Chief Adjudicator Ramki Krishnan, Crossword Association of Delhi Vice President Vinayak Ekbote were present.
