Ravi Kishan Exclusive: This habit of actors leads to bad condition… Where did the mathematics of Bhojpuri industry go wrong, Ravi Kishan reveals

Ravi Kishan, who created a stir all over the world with ‘Laapta Ladies’, will soon be seen in Ajay Devgan’s ‘Son of Sardar’. In his career, Ravi Kishan has worked not only in Hindi but also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati and Marathi films. But Ravi Kishan has a close relationship with Bhojpuri industry. This is the reason why the bad condition of this industry at present troubles them. In a special conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, Ravi Kishan expressed his pain.

Ravi Kishan said, “My junior superstars of Bhojpuri industry do not understand what they should do to grow this industry. I also won a National Award for the Bhojpuri film ‘Kab Hoi Gavna Hamar’. But now these people are left with only money, BMW car, bungalow and Range Rover. After me, Bhojpuri film industry did not find good scripts, did not invest in good script writers. No one worked hard on the characters and stories. I don’t know but they all have gone astray. Now I am finding the future journey of this industry difficult because the audience is not going to the theatre.”

Bhojpuri industry has gone digital

Ahead Ravi Kishan Said, “Now most of the Bhojpuri films have come on digital. I had a big dream and to fulfill that dream I had created the Bhojpuri film industry. But now it feels very sad to see it. These are all my younger brothers. But I want to tell everyone through you that now it is very difficult. If they respect me, consider me a brother, touch my feet, then they too will have to work hard like us. The hard work that I, Manoj Tiwari and Nirahua had done, now they will have to do the same and make this industry stand once again.”

Know why Ravi Kishan is sad

Talking about why Bhojpuri films are not able to show their magic, Ravi Kishan said, “I worked day and night to build this industry. Worked for less money. It makes me very sad to see that these people couldn’t maintain it. Actually these people come live every day. They are seen on TV and on social media, so when people can watch them for free, then why would they pay money to watch them in the theatre. Those people are not able to understand this. All of them are getting good money. But the rest of the people working behind the camera in this industry will die of hunger.”
