Amritsar is a famous railway station for railways. After getting down at the railway station here, you can go to the Golden Temple by auto, cab or bus. Apart from this, there is also a road route where you can go as per your convenience.
Jallianwala Bagh: Jallianwala Bagh is located near the Golden Temple. It has great historical importance, it is a symbol of the brave revolutionaries of India. It was here on 13 April 1919 that people were protesting peacefully against the Rowlatt Act and the release of two prominent nationalist leaders. But the British government opened fire on the unarmed crowd. In which thousands of people including women and children were martyred. It has now been made even better by the Government of India, where you can learn about one of the most tragic events in the history of our independence.
Durgiana Temple: Durgiana Temple is situated in Amritsar. There is also a beautiful lake inside this temple. Idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are seen floating in this lake. Attari-Wagah Border: The Attari-Wagah border of India and Pakistan is located at a distance of about 28 km from Amritsar. It is very interesting to see the beating retreat ceremony here on the border. A large number of people come to see it. You can also go here to watch the parade.
