4.2 lakh people die every year due to Salmonella bacteria, are you also eating these things which are destroying the intestines like slow poison?

Every year millions of people become victims of food poisoning and the main reason behind this is Salmonella bacteria. This bacteria, found in raw eggs, undercooked meat, vegetables and processed foods, can cause serious intestinal infections. A recent research published in the National Academy of Sciences has revealed that Salmonella bacteria keep themselves alive and spread infection by changing the balance of nutrients in the intestine.

Researchers found that Salmonella first enters the small intestine and causes inflammation in the intestinal lining. This interferes with the normal absorption of amino acids from food. As a result, these amino acids like lysine and ornithine accumulate in the large intestine. It helps protect the bacteria from the harmful effects of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), which cause this bacteria to grow rapidly.

World According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 600 million people fall ill every year due to unsafe food and 4.2 lakh of these lose their lives. The main cause of this problem is Salmonella.

Researchers found in a study on rats that Salmonella infection reduces the absorption of amino acids in the blood. “This discovery not only helps understand Salmonella infection, but also opens up new treatments for inflammatory bowel disorders, such as colon disease and ulcerative colitis,” said Professor Andreas Bäumler of the University of California-Davis.

To avoid food poisoning Always cook food properly and keep food items clean. Avoid eating raw and choose a healthy diet. This will keep your intestine safe and prevent infection.
