Thackeray accused the Mahayuti government of giving priority to builders over the welfare of the city. His plan to boost GDP includes giving priority to builders across Mumbai, he said. Criticizing NITI Aayog, he said, ‘It has prepared a blueprint to reduce the importance of BMC. The World Economic Forum and MMRDA have also signed an MoU regarding Mumbai, but let me tell them – we will not let you harm this city.
‘Why does BJP not trust its workers in Maharashtra?’
The Shiv Sena-UBT leader also accused Mahayuti of handing over large tracts of land to Adani Group at many places including Kolhapur, Chandrapur and Palghar. He warned, ‘This is a serious issue which people should understand. Apart from this, reacting to BJP leader Pankaja Munde’s claim of deploying efficiency readers at 90,000 booths in Maharashtra, Thackeray said, ‘These people are being brought from Gujarat. Why doesn’t BJP trust its workers in Maharashtra?
