Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given instructions for better treatment of constable Shiv Kumar Sharma, who was seriously injured in the encounter between police and Naxalites in Balaghat district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government will bear the entire expense for the treatment of the injured soldier. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the courageous constable.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed on phone with the doctors treating injured jawan Shiv Kumar Sharma. Dr. Yadav said that the Hawk-Force team personnel deployed on duty were seriously injured in the firing. Presently he is undergoing treatment in Gondia, Maharashtra.

Let us tell you that in the anti-Naxal operation, on Sunday, November 17, while conducting a special operation in the Kundul hill forest area, police party Hawk-Force SOG Ukwa was fired upon by armed Naxalites in uniform, whose number was between 12 to 15, after seeing the police. The security forces also retaliated against the Naxalite group without caring for their lives.
An intensive search operation is going on by the security forces to nab the Naxalites who fled from the spot. Crimes have been registered under various sections against Naxalites in Rupjhar police station.
