Where the girl has been pleading for justice for her newborn child for the last 10 days. The girlfriend sat on a dharna outside her boyfriend’s house in the hope that his heart might melt. According to the victim, she is a resident of a village in Dhurki block. Last year, during Chhath festival, she had come to her elder sister’s house in Devgana under Meral police station area. There he met Sujit Prajapati, who appeared to be his sister’s cousin.

Both of them fell in love and then gradually they first became friends and then fell in love. What started with talking on the phone turned into meetings. During this interaction the girl became pregnant. When the girl informed this to her lover Sujit, he first started talking about marriage but later backed out. Angered by this, the victim had lodged a complaint in the women’s police station of Garhwa district.

No action was taken even after the complaint. After which now the young man is forced to stumble from door to door with his newborn. The girl reached Sujit’s house on 5 November with her newborn child. After getting information about sitting on dharna outside his girlfriend’s house, Sujit and his entire family are absconding after locking the house. According to the victim, she had given birth to a child in the month of August itself. However, after the birth of the child, her lover Sujit went back on his promise and refused to adopt her. Only after this, the victim had complained to the women’s police station in the month of September.

Here the victim is adamant that if she gets married then she will become the daughter-in-law of this house, otherwise she will sacrifice her life outside the house. Pleading for justice, Rekha says that she has full hope that her lover Sujit Prajapati will definitely adopt her and her child. If she doesn’t accept it, she will commit suicide right there. At present, the incident of sitting on dharna with the newborn child outside the girlfriend’s boyfriend’s house has become a topic of discussion in the entire area.
