Fear of irregularities in Maharashtra Assembly elections! 9 Kashmiri youth caught with weapons

A major attempt to cause irregularities in the assembly elections being held in Maharashtra has failed. Based on intelligence input, Maharashtra Police and Army have arrested 9 Kashmiri youth in a joint operation. Police have recovered 9 rifles and 58 live cartridges from them. All the arrested accused are residents of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. According to Maharashtra Police, the accused have been identified as Shabbir Mohammad Iqbal Hussain Gujjar (38), Mohammad Salim alias Salim Gul Mohammad (32), Mohammad Sarfaraz Nazir Hussain (24), Jahangir Zakir Hussain (28), Shahbaz Ahmed Nazir Hussain (33), Surjeet. Rameshchandra Singh, Abdul Rashid Chidiya (38), Tufail Ahmed Mohammed Ghazia and Sher Ahmed Ghulam Hussain. Is. According to the police, Sher Ahmed Ghulam Hussain is the leader of the gang.

Arrest made from Ahilya Nagar

It is suspected that on the instructions of his handler sitting in Pakistan, he had reached Ahilya Nagar with the intention of causing disturbance in the Maharashtra elections. According to the police, a big conspiracy has been exposed with the arrest of these accused. It has come to light that the accused had spent Rs 50,000 each to get a fake license and purchase a weapon, citing the job of a security guard. After this, all these people were waiting for the right opportunity while working as security guards in Ahilyanagar, Shrigonda, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Pune etc.

Police busy investigating the network of the accused

According to the police, after receiving input regarding these unruly elements in Maharashtra, verification of all the security guards is being done. In this sequence, the identity and arms license of the arrested accused were checked and after the irregularities were confirmed, they were arrested. At present, a case has been registered against all of them under the Arms Act and the matter is being investigated. Besides, their network is also being investigated. For this, the intelligence agency of police and army is taking the help of electronic surveillance.
