In fact, recently a report has come out, in which it has been said that office rent in Mumbai is much less as compared to Delhi. According to Knight Frank India, Delhi-NCR is the sixth most expensive office market in the Asia Pacific region. According to real estate consultants, the average monthly rent for an office here is Rs 340 per square feet. Mumbai is at eighth place in this list.
Delhi-NCR at number 6
Delhi-NCR is the sixth most expensive office market in the APAC region, Knight Frank said in its latest edition of the Asia Pacific Prime Office Rent Index for the third quarter (July-September) of 2024.
Hong Kong remains APAC’s most expensive office market during the third quarter of this year. Prime rental rates in NCR remained stable in Q3 2024, while those in Mumbai and Bengaluru increased by five per cent and three per cent year-on-year.
Only this much rent will have to be paid in Mumbai
Mumbai’s prime office rent stood at Rs 317 per sq ft per month and was the 8th most expensive commercial market in the APAC region. Bengaluru ranked 18th in the list and is one of the least expensive prime office markets. The prime office rent here was recorded at Rs 138 per square feet per month.
