Ajit Pawar has given ticket to NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Nawab Malik from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar despite opposition from BJP. Besides, his daughter Sana Malik has also been given ticket from Anushakti Nagar. BJP is continuously accusing Nawab Malik of connection with Dawood Ibrahim. Regarding this, Nawab Malik now said that those who are linking him with Dawood Ibrahim will take legal action against him.
Nawab Malik said, those who are linking him with Dawood Ibrahim will have to face legal action. He said, along with allegations of money laundering, I am also facing false allegations of Dawood connection and terrorism. My image is being tarnished by these false allegations. If those making these allegations do not apologize to me, no matter how big a leader they are, my lawyer will send them a legal notice and take action against them.
Ticket given despite opposition from BJP
BJP party leaders are continuously accusing Nawab Malik of having connections with Dawood Ibrahim. Despite being in the Mahayuti alliance, Ajit Pawar has fielded Nawab Malik despite continuous opposition from BJP and had also come to campaign for him. Ajit Pawar had announced the name of Nawab Malik on the last day of nomination. At the same time, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has fielded Suresh Patil from this seat.
What did Nawab Malik say about BJP?
Nawab Malik said, his stand towards BJP will remain the same as it was before. He also said that he will never support CM Yogi Adityanath’s slogan “Batenge to Katenge”. Politics based on religion will not last long. The Election Commission should take strict action against this. When Nawab Malik was asked why he was supporting Ajit Pawar, who was involved in the Mahayuti, he said, Ajit Pawar had helped my family a lot when I was in jail. That’s why I stand with them. Ajit Pawar is my leader. Apart from Ajit Pawar, I do not consider anyone as my leader in the alliance.
Nawab Malik further said about PM Modi, PM Modi is not a leader, he is the Prime Minister of the country. Just because I have joined NDA does not mean that I have started supporting their ideology.
