Everything is over and now I don’t even want to live. That’s why I am also going to die. As soon as the phone call was made, a police team reached Mukesh’s house. Whereas, a team started searching for Mukesh.
When the police reached Mukesh’s house located at Lalpura Tiraha, the ground slipped under his feet. The police found four dead bodies there. These bodies were that of Mukesh’s wife Rekha Verma (45) and three children Bhavya (18), Kavya (16) and Abhisht (14). Marks were found on everyone’s neck. But not a single drop of blood was shed. The police immediately called the forensic team. All important evidence was collected and sent for investigation. Then the dead bodies were also sent for post-mortem.
On the other hand, the police also arrested Mukesh (Mukesh Verma) from near the railway station. Interrogation was started from him. Mukesh said- I work in buying gold in Delhi. I used to come and go home every 8 to 10 days. This was my second marriage.

The first wife died of cancer in 2005. Then I married Rekha after two years i.e. in 2007. Bhavya is the daughter of my first wife. After marriage with Rekha, Kavya and Abhisht were born in our house. Bhavya was doing B.Com from Delhi University. She came home on Diwali. Younger daughter Kavya studied in class 12th.
Mukesh said- All five of us had decided to commit suicide together, in which his wife and three children died. But I survived. That’s why I was going to go to the railway station and commit suicide.
Mukesh Verma is the murderer
SSP Sanjay Kumar said- We found in the investigation that Mukesh Verma had murdered his wife and his three children by feeding them poisonous substance (Etawah Mass Murder Case). Because no trace of blood has been recovered from the incident site.
The forensic team has also recovered intoxicating medicines from there. A suicide note written by bullion artisan Mukesh Verma has also been recovered. Regarding which the police is busy observing closely. It is being said by the local people that Mukesh Verma’s house was closed since around 9 in the morning.
It is being speculated that the incident of killing four family members by giving them sleeping pills took place in the morning. But Mukesh himself reached Etawah railway station late on Monday evening to commit suicide. On the basis of PM report and forensic investigation, the real cause of death of all four will be revealed.
Rekha’s brother gave information
On the other hand, if Rekha’s brother is to be believed, her niece Kavya had posted a status on her social media account. It was written – All these people are finished. There were pictures of Rekha and children in the status. Seeing this the family members got worried. Tried to call everyone, but no one’s number was available. Our sister and her children were probably murdered because of real estate. This matter should be investigated properly.
What do the police say?
According to the police, if Kavya herself had posted the WhatsApp status ‘All these people are gone’, then it means that the family has committed suicide with the consent of the family. But it is also possible that someone else may have added this status to his phone so that the police can be misled.
The mobile phones of all the family members including Kavya have been sent for investigation. So that, some more important information can be found in this matter. His family and people around him are also being interrogated. Further investigation in the matter is going on. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this massacre.
