The glory of the uniform! Parking stand owner asked for money, 2 women SI beat him up, then took him to the police station

A video has surfaced of two Lady Singham SIs of police brutally assaulting and bullying a railway station employee in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In which two female SIs are seen kicking and punching a young man. After the CCTV footage surfaced, the entire matter is being turned upside down by the GRP station in-charge. GRP station in-charge says that the stand driver misbehaved with the female SI, on which the female SI caught him and took him to the police station.

SI Akanksha Singh of GRP police station and SI Aarti Mandloi of Barela police station assaulted vehicle stand employee Sonu Singh at the parking stand of railway station platform number one. The reason for this incident is being said to be a dispute regarding parking fee. In which the two wheeler was parked in the bus stand by Aarti Mandloi. Rs 200 was demanded by the stand driver. On which the female SI said that the police does not need money. SI Aarti Mandloi called woman sub-inspector Akanksha Singh posted in GRP police station. According to the video, SI Akanksha Singh and Aarti Mandloi first abused the employee, then slapped him and kicked his private parts. After this, Akanksha Singh dragged Sonu to the police station and beat him there too.

The victim left his job

This entire incident took place late in the evening of 21st October, but the CCTV video of the assault went viral on social media on Monday. After which this entire matter has come to light. After the video went viral, not only people but also higher officials’ attention was drawn towards it. It is being said that after this incident, Sonu Singh left his job due to mental stress and fear. The victim’s friend Nitin Kumar Mishra told that Sonu was facing such a situation which was extremely humiliating and painful for him. He raised questions on this behavior of the policemen and demanded justice.

Action will be taken after investigation

Responding to the incident, GRP police station in-charge Balram Yadav said that the employees working at the vehicle stand were found at fault in the entire matter. Female SI Aarti had returned from work at Marg. After this a situation of controversy arose here. Additional SP Pradeep Shende says that appropriate action will be taken in this matter. The allegations against SI Akanksha Singh will be investigated. He said that such conduct from law and order maintaining officers will not be tolerated at all. This case has created a negative attitude towards the police among the people of Jabalpur, and people are condemning this incident.
