To avoid this clash, the makers of Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava have decided to postpone their film. This information came a few days ago. Now Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ will be released solo at the box office on December 5. After the postponement, now the makers of Chhaava have started looking for a new date.
Chhaava director Laxman Utekar and producer Dinesh Vijan are busy searching for a new date. Although they have not finalized any date yet, it is believed that the makers currently have two such dates on which they are thinking of releasing the film. According to peepingmoon.com, the makers can release the film on either 20th December or 10th January next year. But they are considering which of these two dates will be more suitable for release. A decision on this can be taken in the next 10 days.
What will happen if it comes on 20th December?
If its makers bring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhava on the big screen on December 20, then the film is sure to clash with Hollywood’s ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’. Apart from this, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is also going to be released on 25th December. In such a situation, difficulties may arise for Chhava after 5 days.
On the other hand, if the makers bring Chhaava on the occasion of Sankranti i.e. on January 10, then it will compete with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s Game Changer. There is a lot of buzz about this film. People have also liked the teaser a lot. However, both these films are not a challenge for Chava at the box office like Pushpa 2.
Can it be released on this day?
The release date has not been decided, but in the report quoting the source it has been said that perhaps the makers will release it on January 10 only. This could be because Maddock Films has already reserved that date for Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra’s film ‘Acces’, directed by Sriram Raghavan. However, Akice is not ready for release yet. Therefore Dinesh Vijan can use that date for Chhava.
