Liquor worth Rs 1 crore has been seized from a gas tanker in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The police have arrested three businessmen in this case of illegal supply of liquor. Five thousand liters of liquor was seized and brought for consumption during Chhath festival. According to the police, the incident took place near Bakhri Chowk. After ambulance, truck and tractor, now the consignment of liquor is being brought hidden inside Bharat Petroleum oil gas tanker. So that no one has any doubt.
Based on secret information, police have seized a huge consignment of foreign liquor from a domestic gas tanker bearing Nagaland number near Bakhri Chowk of Ahiyapur police station area. Instead of gas, cartoons of liquor were hidden in its secret basement. The value of the seized liquor is said to be around Rs 1 crore. The police have also arrested three businessmen from the spot. All three are residents of Punjab Haryana. During interrogation, the businessmen have given information about many other people involved in the liquor business. Police are conducting raids to arrest other people mentioned by the accused.
Liquor supply from gas tanker
Regarding the matter, SDPO Vineeta Sinha said that action was taken on secret information. He said that continuous raids are being conducted against liquor during the festival season. A large quantity of liquor found in the gas tanker has been seized. The driver and co-driver have been arrested from the spot, both are from Punjab and Haryana. The arrested driver Gurdeep Singh is a resident of Ramgarh in Warnala district of Punjab. Khalasi Jagjit Singh is a resident of Jagraon City, Ludhiana.
The liquor that has been seized is made in Himachal Pradesh. Separate chambers were made inside the tanker to load cartons of liquor. The police are interrogating the arrested businessmen.

Where had you brought the liquor from and where were you supposed to take it. The police is trying to gather information about this. So that the businessman asking for liquor can be arrested. The arrested Satish told the police that he was being paid Rs 1500 per day. Liquor traders were continuously contacting the tanker drivers of Punjab from different numbers.
