Due to this, the girl contacted Hawa Mahal MLA Balmukund Acharya and narrated her incident. The MLA presented the girl before Additional Commissioner Kunwar Rashtradeep and lodged a complaint. The girl told that due to political influence, her husband did not allow her to register her complaint at Shastri Nagar police station. Here, MLA Balmukund says that in this way, Hindu girls are being trapped by doing love jihad, after which many incidents of their being cut into pieces come to light. Arif, who married the girl, changed Pratima’s religion, started making her wear a burqa and offer namaz, but her name did not change.

At present, after registering the complaint on the matter, the police took the girl’s allegations seriously and provided her security and are busy in the investigation. After all this has happened to her, she has lost faith in religious conversion and love and now she wants to return home.
