The excitement regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra has intensified. All the political parties are busy in their respective preparations. Raj Thackeray’s party MNS has also entered this election battle. Meanwhile, Amit Thackeray, son of Raj Thackeray and candidate from Mahim assembly seat, told TV9 Bharatvarsh his strategy. He said that the enthusiasm and love that is there among the public is a big thing for me.
Amit Thackeray said that he has only one goal in the elections and that is to reach out to the people and tell them his vision. Thackeray said that the people of Maharashtra should know for whom they are voting. How is the leader in front, what work will he do for the public, how will he solve their issues and problems.
‘Even in 2024 we are fighting on water issue, this is shameful’
He further said that the water issue is being raised in Mahim seat. It is being propagated among the people that water will come in your tap. Thackeray said that if we are fighting on the same issue in 2024, then I think it is very shameful and we need to move ahead from this. He said that water is everyone’s right and everyone should get it. In many houses there is no electricity and basic needs are not available. In such a situation, whatever is in my power, whatever I can do for the people, I will do it.
‘Even God doesn’t know what the outcome of the elections will be’
On the question asked about the opposition, he said that he will not say anything in this regard. The opposition is running with its own vision and I am running with my own vision. He said that people had given him an opportunity to work, but if it is not working then we should change and I think it is possible that this time it will happen. Along with this, on the results of the elections he said that even God cannot tell this.
