In Kanpur, a four year old innocent child has died after eating toffee containing chewing gum. Family members told that the child had stubbornly bought toffee from a shop in the locality. Shortly after eating the toffee, it got stuck in his throat. After this he started having difficulty in breathing. The family members hurriedly took the child to the biggest hospital of the city, but by then the child had died. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire family since the incident.
Death due to eating toffee
Giving information about the incident, Rahul Kashyap, father of the deceased child, said that his 4 year old son had bought toffee from the grocery shop in front of the house at around 7:00 pm on Sunday evening and went home and ate it. After which the trophy got stuck in his neck. The family members tried hard to remove the trophy from the child’s neck, but it did not come out. After which the family members took the child to the hospital, but by then the child had stopped breathing.
Panic spread over eating toffee
The father of the deceased child says that Pari Jain is going to lodge a complaint with the police against the toffee manufacturing company.
