There is a year left for Bihar Assembly elections, but all the political parties have accelerated their preparations. Janata Dal United (JDU) has decided to field its big leaders. On the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, worker conferences will be organized in all the districts of Bihar, so that new energy can be filled among the workers. For which a committee has been formed under the leadership of JDU state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha. Under this, such JDU ministers, MPs and MLAs, who have a hold in that area, will be sent to caste dominated districts.
Also, those districts have been identified where JDU had got very few votes in the last Lok Sabha elections or where the party’s candidates had lost. In this context, Umesh Singh Kushwaha has announced district level worker conferences of JDU.
What is the purpose?
This conference will start from 24th November and will continue till 22nd December. For this, five teams have been formed, which will be led respectively by National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Ramnath Thakur. . Nine party leaders have been included in each team. Giving detailed information about the conference, Umesh Singh Kushwaha said that these conferences will be organized in different districts on every Saturday and Sunday from 24th November to 22nd December. The concluding conference will be held in Patna on 22nd December.
He further said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, NDA had got the lead in 173 out of 243 seats in Bihar, while the Grand Alliance was successful in only 63 seats. JDU has to achieve an even bigger victory in the 2025 assembly elections, for which they are working on the target of 225 seats.
Eye is on Purnia’s seats
Umesh Singh Kushwaha said that Nitish Kumar’s clear message is that we have to remain engaged in public welfare work and the public itself will answer those who spread confusion. JDU had won 12 out of 16 seats in the last Lok Sabha elections. However, JDU had lost the Purnia seat, from where Santosh Kushwaha was the MP. Santosh comes from Kushwaha caste and Nitish Kumar does not want to let go of the Koeri-Kurmi vote bank, because these votes were lost to JDU in the last Lok Sabha elections. On the other hand, RJD has also made Abhay Singh Kushwaha the leader of the parliamentary party for the Kushwaha community.
Let us tell you that JDU’s only MLA in Purnia is Lacey Singh and JDU wants to get at least three seats this time. This is the reason why workers’ conferences are being organized in other districts of Bihar including Purnia. In these, information about the development work done by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar will be given to the workers, so that they can go among the public with this message and tell about the achievements of the government.
