A 17-year-old Taekwondo player was murdered by slitting his throat in a land dispute in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. In connection with the murder, the sub-inspector posted in the police department has been arrested and sent to jail. Actually, Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar Yadav, brother of the main accused Ramesh Yadav, was posted at Mawana police station in Meerut district. It is alleged that they conspired by talking over phone before and after the murder. After the incident, the family members had filed a case against the main accused and many people including Sub Inspector Rajesh Yadav.
In fact, on Wednesday morning, after a minor altercation in a 40-year-old land dispute in Kabiruddinpur of Gaurabadshahpur police station area of Jaunpur, people from the other party attacked 17-year-old Taekwondo player Anurag Yadav with a sword on his neck. After this incident, the mother and sister kept crying with the severed head of their son. After the incident, Jaunpur DM Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh and SP Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma reached the spot and assured justice to the victim’s family. DM has ordered a magisterial inquiry. Many police teams are raiding to arrest the accused.
Anurag had won many medals
Deceased Anurag was a Taekwondo player as well as an Inter College student. He was the only son of his parents. Just a few days ago, he had won the bronze medal in the Indo-Nepal International Taekwondo Competition held in Chandauli and the silver medal in the Open National held in Noida.
On this massacre in Jaunpur, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav had attacked the UP government by posting on ‘X’. Akhilesh Yadav had written that there is a strange contradictory relationship between today’s government and crime. On one hand both are together, while on the other hand the government is becoming weaker and more inactive.
Police recovered sharp weapon
After the incident, the family members had filed a case against the main accused Ramesh Yadav, sub-inspector Rajesh Yadav, Lalta Yadav and many other family members. Jaunpur police arrested Lalta with sword, axe, sickle and many other sharp weapons and sent her to jail. The main accused Ramesh and his minor brother had gone to Lucknow to surrender, before which the Aligarh Police arrested them when they looked suspicious during checking. After this, Jaunpur police also sent those two accused to jail on Friday. In this murder case, sub-inspector Rajesh Kumar Yadav posted in Meerut was called by the police for questioning. During investigation, the sub-inspector was found to be talking on phone before and after the incident. After informing the Superintendent of Police of Meerut, the police sent the accused sub-inspector Rajesh Yadav, named in the Anurag murder case, to jail on charges of conspiracy.
Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma said that several police teams are conducting raids to arrest other accused in the Anurag murder case. The accused will be arrested soon and necessary action will be taken.
