The accused has been identified as Mahesh Pandey. The accused has confessed to the crime. Till now, his connection with any criminal gang has not come to light, but during police interrogation it has come to light that he has worked with many big leaders in the past. At present the police is interrogating the accused.

Pappu Yadav was threatened by three people
After this, MP Pappu Yadav started receiving threats. In this, the first threat was given to him by a miscreant on Facebook Live. The second threat came from Dubai on his WhatsApp number. Similarly, the third threat was given by some scoundrel associated with the Lawrence Gang. MP Pappu Yadav had given a complaint to the police regarding these three threats. Along with this, he had also demanded from the Central Government to increase his security. Here, Purnia Police became alert regarding these threats.
Had ordered SIM card from sister-in-law
In case of threat from Dubai, when the police put the number on surveillance, it came to light that although the number is from Dubai, it is currently active in Delhi. According to Purnia Police Superintendent Karthikeya Sharma, based on this input, the police has now arrested a person named Mahesh Pandey. During police interrogation, the accused told that his sister-in-law lives in Dubai. To threaten Pappu Yadav, he asked for a SIM card from his sister-in-law and threatened Pappu Yadav from the same number. However, no concrete reason for the threat has come to light yet.
