Politics has started on Chhath Puja in Delhi. On the pretext of Chhath Puja, political parties have started wooing the people of Purvanchal. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused BJP of banning Chhath Ghat.

Atishi tweeted on social sites X on Saturday that BJP hates Purvanchalis. The level of their politics has fallen so much that they are banning Chhath Ghat in Greater Kailash through DDA.

He said that such petty politics regarding the great festival of faith, Chhath, will not be tolerated and BJP will have to bear the brunt of it.

Saurabh Bhardwaj targeted DDA

Earlier, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj tweeted a video on social site For the honor of Purvanchal, I will go to Satpula Ground, Chirag Delhi today at 5 o’clock to raise voice for the rights of the brothers of Purvanchal.

It can be heard saying in the video that the people of Purvanchal have been celebrating Chhath Puja in Satpura Park for eight years. Like every year, Chhath Puja is being organized here. BJP’s DDA has closed the gate. JCB has been coming twice and is being refused. He said that permission is not being given to build a ghat for Chhath Puja.

On the other hand, AAP leader Sanjay Singh tweeted the video and said that I have repeatedly said that BJP hates Purvanchalis. BJP councilor had broken Chhath Ghat in Greater Kailash. Now BJP people are banning Chhath Ghat through DDA. If you play with Chhath Ghat, the consequences will be bad.

There will be holiday in Delhi on Chhath Puja

Earlier, the Delhi government has declared November 7 as a public holiday on the occasion of Chhath Puja in the national capital. Chief Minister Atishi has written a letter to the Chief Secretary asking him to issue necessary notification in this regard. It says that Chhath Puja is an important festival for the people of Delhi. Delhi government has decided to declare November 7 as a public holiday on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
